Our story

Enterprise software shouldn't take three years. And it shouldn't feel like 1998.

The Nexthrone team at work

Nexthrone was founded in 2023 by engineers who had spent the previous decade building software, platforms, and ERP systems for companies across industries. We kept seeing the same two failures: either off-the-shelf software that forced the business to mutate around it, or two-year custom builds that went over budget before they went live.

We built Nexthrone to collapse that gap. A platform of production-hardened components — applications, ERP modules, integrations, and communication infrastructure — that we extend and assemble for each client. You get the speed of off-the-shelf with the fit of custom, because the bones are already there.

Our first clients needed to go digital without an enterprise budget. We have since grown across commerce, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and the public sector — but the principle has not changed: ship the tested, build for the long run, and deliver things our clients can still operate in a decade.

We work from Prishtina, serve across the Western Balkans, and travel for the work. Small enough to care deeply. Senior enough to ship without a 50-person vendor team behind every PR.

Why Nexthrone

How we think about shipping.

Enterprise security, in everything.

Whether we are building a customer-facing product or an internal tool, the same security, audit, and reliability standards apply — by default, not as a premium.

Ship the tested, not the trendy.

Our platform components are already live in production, processing real transactions. New clients don't pay us to discover bugs — they pay for the years we already spent on them.

You own the code we write.

Custom work is yours — clearly, contractually. No proprietary lock-in, no hostage architectures. We believe partnerships work best when leaving is possible.

We run what we build.

Monitoring, on-call engineers, and a commitment to keep systems alive long after the launch party. Our clients see us on year seven, not just month three.

How we work

From first call to go-live — in six steps.

012–4 weeks
Discovery & strategy

Stakeholder interviews, requirements mapping, architecture design, honest cost and risk estimates.

021 week
Sprint 0 · Setup

Dev environment, CI/CD, repo hygiene, team onboarding. You see the pipelines before you see the product.

038–20 weeks
Iterative development

Two-week sprints, weekly demos, continuous client feedback. You sign off on working software, not slide decks.

042–4 weeks
Integration & hardening

UAT, load testing, third-party security audit, data migration dry-runs, performance tuning.

054 weeks
Go-live & hypercare

Staged rollout, training, 24/7 on-call engineering for the first four weeks after production.

06Ongoing
Operate & evolve

Ongoing support, quarterly roadmap reviews, enhancement releases, capacity planning.

Engagement models

Five ways to work together.

01

Fixed Price

Defined scope, agreed milestones, predictable budget. Clear exit criteria on both sides.

Best for

Well-scoped projects where the problem is known and the solution is mostly a delivery exercise.

02

Time & Materials

Flexible scope, transparent rates, detailed monthly reporting. Pay for what you actually use.

Best for

Evolving scope, ongoing development, and work where the boundary is best drawn as we learn.

03

Dedicated Team

A named, ring-fenced team allocated to you full-time, managed by Nexthrone but steered by your product calls.

Best for

Long-term product development where continuity and context retention outweigh the cost of fixed capacity.

04

Retainer

Monthly commitment for a guaranteed slice of our engineering capacity. Predictable for both sides.

Best for

Ongoing support and enhancement work across a portfolio of systems — or a small-but-steady roadmap.

05

Revenue Share

We build, we operate, we carry some of the risk — and we share in the upside when your product works.

Best for

Early-stage product or SaaS bets where alignment on outcome matters more than a line item.

Let's build.

Your roadmap is not a two-year project.
